The Festival
The Dance-A-Ganda Festival is an annual celebration of creativity, dance, diversity, and community spirit. It is hosted in multiple venues in the city of Uyo in Nigeria. Founded in 2018, the festival aims to provide a platform for talented people from all backgrounds to showcase their skills, while fostering cultural exchange and collaboration. Dance-A-Ganda continues to inspire and unite audiences through the power of movement.
Theme
Our theme this year is OMNIFORMITY. We will be hosting creators and lovers of fun activities with a series of shows, competitions, exhibitions, masterclasses and workshops.

This year, the festival includes three shows, three competitions, three discussion panels, and lots more. Activities are designed for families, friends, and business buddies to gather and unwind during the holidays in the beautiful city of Uyo. With our theme OMNIFORMITY, we are exploring the concept of differences. Differences in culture, differences in dance, differences in people, etc… Join us for a day you and your family will never forget.

The dance craft challenge is a dance competition for kids and teens. It is open to studios, schools and independent participants. It will provide opportunities for kids and teens to compete with other dancing kids and to get rewards for all the work they put in during the year.
Our vision is to grow to a platform to scout talented youngsters and reward them with jobs, scholarships and endorsements
The Dance Arena is 2 weeks of trainings, business classes. Performances and workshops. We will select 15 young dancers, 5 dance producers and 5 choreographers to be part of this endeavour. For more information >>

Whether you’re a solo artist, part of a performing group, or a parent looking to get your child involved in a fun and inspiring event, this is your chance to shine!
Are you a solo dancer or performer looking to showcase your talent on a grand stage? We’re looking for passionate and creative individuals to join the Dance-A-Ganda Festival 2024! Whether your style is contemporary, hip hop, ballet, cultural dance, or something in between, we want you to take center stage and inspire our audience with your unique talent. You get to be part of a grand production or perform on your own and experience creativity at a different level.

Dance-A-Ganda Festival 2024 is excited to host a special children’s production, and we’re inviting kids who love to perform to join! If your child enjoys dancing, acting, or performing in front of an audience, this is a wonderful opportunity for them to be part of a fun and creative experience. Kids will have the chance to rehearse with professional instructors and perform as part of our festival’s lineup.
