Dance-A-Ganda Festival 2025 is calling for performers, choreographers, theatre artists, cultural troupes, musicians, storytellers, and interdisciplinary creators to join us this December in Nigeria. This international festival is a hub for creativity, cultural exchange, and collaboration, welcoming dancers (traditional, contemporary, urban, fusion), theatre and performance artists, ensembles, and emerging collectives. Dance Ville invites dancers and performers to audition for this years festival theme show: Omniformity, a groundbreaking dance-theatre production exploring comedy, heartbreak, and triumph. We seek strong dancers of all styles (contemporary, hip-hop, afro-fusion, jazz, ballet, experimental), as well as performers with acting, singing ability, and stage presence. Both ensemble and featured roles are available.

This 4-hour interactive session gathers festival organizers, dance company directors, entrepreneurs, venue owners, educators, and cultural leaders to shape the future of dance and cultural production. Discussions will cover funding, sustainability, innovation, cultural exchange, job creation, and industry growth. Attendees will connect with top local and international producers, explore partnerships, and gain global visibility in a collaborative environment. The Festival
The Dance-A-Ganda Festival is an annual celebration of creativity, dance, diversity, and community spirit. It is hosted in multiple venues in the city of Uyo in Nigeria. Founded in 2018, the festival aims to provide a platform for talented people from all backgrounds to showcase their skills, while fostering cultural exchange and collaboration. Dance-A-Ganda continues to inspire and unite audiences through the power of movement.

Our theme this year is OMNIFORMITY. We will be hosting creators and lovers of fun activities with a series of shows, competitions, exhibitions, masterclasses and workshops.

The dance craft challenge is a dance competition for kids and teens. It is open to studios, schools and independent participants. It will provide opportunities for kids and teens to compete with other dancing kids and to get rewards for all the work they put in during the year.

Dance-A-Ganda Festival 2024 is excited to host a special children’s production, and we’re inviting kids who love to perform to join! If your child enjoys dancing, acting, or performing in front of an audience, this is a wonderful opportunity for them to be part of a fun and creative experience. Kids will have the chance to rehearse with professional instructors and perform as part of our festival’s lineup.
